What Can Do By Cpanel???

Your Control Panel can be found at:
http://yourdomain.com:2082/  Or http:/sinhalaya.com:2082/


Login with your 8 letter account name and the password that was created when we setup your account. When you login, you will see a variety of stats down the left hand side of the screen including number of domains, number of databases, disk usage, SQL disk usage, bandwidth usage, email accounts, lists and filters. You'll also find information there on Operating System, Service Stats, version numbers, paths to Perl and Sendmail, Installed Perl modules and Official CPanel Documentation. (For further information beyond this basic Control Panel overview, please login and refer to the CPanel Documentation).

You will also see a variety of buttons.

Mail
Under the "Mail" button you can:
 

  • Access Web Mail (either NeoMail, Horde or SquirrelMail)
  • Add/Remove Mail Accounts and manage their mailbox quotas
  • Set the default address for anything@yourdomain.com
  • Setup Autoresponders
  • Setup Email forwarders
  • Create and manage mailing lists
  • Activate and alter the settings of Spam Assassin
  • Trace an Eamil Address
  • Alter the MX Entry for your domain (not recommended) 
     


Webmail
This allows you to read the webmail for the default account (the 8 letter account name @ yourdomain.com) via one of the 3 available webmail programs.

Change Password
This will allow you to change the password for the Control Panel, FTP and SSH access.

Parked Domains
This feature is not active. You will need to contact support to have domains parked on your account.

Addon Domains
This feature is not active. You will need to contact support to have additional domains on your account.

FTP Manager
Under the "FTP Manager" button you can:
 
  • Create FTP Accounts
  • Change the Anonymous FTP Controls for your site
  • Have control over current FTP Sessions
     


File Manager
You can add, edit, delete and set permissions on files and directories within your webspace.

Disk Usage
Will show you current disk usage by directory.

Backup
You can generate and download backups of all of your files and databases. Also Note that we perform an automated backup nightly, which is stored on a different server. 

Password Protect Directories
Will allow you to secure select directories in your domain with a password. (.htaccess)

Error Pages
Will allow you to define custom error pages for your domain.

Subdomains
This feature is not active. You will need to contact support to have subdomains on your account.

MySQL Databases
Will allow you to create & remove databases and database users. There is also a link to phpMyAdmin which is preinstalled on your account to edit and maintain your databases.

PostgreSQL Databases
Will allow you to create & remove databases and database users. There is also a link to phpMyAdmin which is preinstalled on your account to edit and maintain your databases.

SSH/Telnet Shell Access
If this is enabled on your account, this will allow you SSH Access through a web interface.

Redirects
Will allow you to redirect pages and directories within your site.

Frontpage Extensions
Will allow you to either Install or Uninstall Microsoft Frontpage Extenstions on your account. It is not recommend that you install the extensions unless you are using Microsoft Front Page to create your site.

Web/FTP Stats
Under the "Web/FTP Stats" button you can:
 
  • View Analog Stats for your site
  • View Graphical Webalizer Stats for your site
  • View Subdomain Stats for your site
  • View the last 300 visitors to your site
  • View your bandwidth Usage
  • View your Error Logs
     


Raw Access Logs
Will allow you to download the Raw Access Logs for your site.

Raw Log Manager
Will allow you to archive and remove logs from your site.

Error Log
Will show the last 300 error log messages.

Subdomain Stats
View stats for your subdomains.

Search Engine Submit
Submit your site to top search engines to increase traffic.

Chatroom
Create a java chatroom for your site

phpMyChat
Create a phpMyChat chatroom for your site

Bullitin Board
Install phpBB on your site.

CGI Center
Install a variety of scripts onto your site, including:
